Botox & Xeomin

Botox injections are an aesthetic procedure, used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and restore the skins youthful appearance.

What is Botox?

Botox a neuromodulator formed from Botulinum toxin A, which temporarily prevents muscle movement. Increased muscle activity occurs with our every day facial movements, causing more visible expression lines and wrinkles. Botox can be injected into these muscles to reduce wrinkles and smooth out the surface of the skin. Botox injections are commonly administered along the forehead, between the eyes and around the eyes (crows feet). The effects of these injections can last up to 3 to 4 months.

What is Xeomin?

Xeomin is also a neuromodulator formed from Botulinum Toxin A. Xeomin works in the same way as Botox. Xeomin differs in that it has no binding proteins and is considered a purified form of Botox. Xeomin also has a quicker onset, with results being seen as early as 2-4 days.
