What is Semaglutide?

Semaglutide belongs to a class of drugs known as GLP-1 receptor agonists. This medication stimulates GLP-1 receptors to suppress appetite and delay gastric emptying. Delaying gastric emptying leads to a feeling fullness with smaller meal sizes. Semaglutide also decreases the amount of glucose produced by the pancreas, which leads to better control over blood sugar levels. Overall, you can expect less food cravings, improved energy levels, increased metabolism and weight loss. Studies show that individuals can lose up to 15% of their body weight in 3-4 months while taking Semaglutide.

Semaglutide is recommended for weight loss in individuals with a body mass index (BMI) of 27 or greater who have at least one weight related chronic condition (high blood pressure, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes) or in individuals with a BMI of 30 or greater. Semaglutide is not recommended if you have a history of pancreatitis, gall bladder problems, kidney failure, low blood sugar levels, diabetic retinopathy, multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2 (MEN2) or any personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer (MTC).

Lipo Dissolve is a non-surgical procedure involving micro-injections into the subcutaneously layer of the skin using a substance called Phosphatidylcholine (PC) and Deoxycholic acid (DC). These substances together breakdown hardened fat into a liquid state which is then eliminated from the body through natural processes. The PC/DC lipolysis treatment reduces and destroys fat cells. This procedure is a great alternative to surgical liposuction as it can be administered in the abdominal region, love handles, bra strap line, under arms, inner thighs and underneath the chin. There is no down time and clients can return to work the next day. 2-3 treatment sessions are recommended. Exercise and adequate fluid hydration will aide the body in fat burning after the procedure and are highly recommended. Treatment is not recommended for individuals with renal or liver failure.
