IV therapy is generally for healthy individuals. When you book an IV drip, the nurse practitioner (NP) will review your medical history and complete an assessment to ensure that you can safely receive this service.
Unfortunately, we do not treat clients who are under the age of 18, pregnant, who have heart, kidney or liver disease or are currently receiving chemotherapy, unless medically approved by your oncologist.
-
We recommend 1 to 2 drips per month for optimal health benefits.
Most IM shots will require weekly sessions for best results.
-
Unfortunately, we do not accept health insurance at this time. All services must be paid with a card or cash.
-
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your booked appointment.
Cancellations after the 24-hour period and no shows will result in a 50% charge of the total amount of the booked service (or 100% charge of the the total amount if a shot was booked).
Upon booking, we do require a minimum deposit for IV drips. Shots will be paid in full upon booking.
-
There is some discomfort initially when obtaining IV access. A needle is inserted into a vein and is removed while the catheter is left in place for the infusion.
The IM injections can cause mild discomfort when the needle is initially inserted but this is a very quick process and the discomfort does not last long.
-
Most of our IV infusions take 45 to 60 minutes depending on your vein and the IV catheter size. The vitamin shots are time convenient and can be administered in minutes.
-
Per our facility policy, we will only attempt IV access two times. In the event that we do not obtain IV access, the appointment will be rescheduled.
There is no guarantee for any client, that IV access will obtained during the appointment.
To improve the success of our IV attempt, please make sure that you are adequately hydrated before your appointment. Drinking plenty of water will make your veins more visible and easier to find.
